How does it work

Email monitoring works by configuring emails that you expect, to explain how email monitoring works, we'll give an example.

Let's say you are receiving an email every day for a backup that one of your systems makes: "Backup of server was successful!". Lots of systems offer a feature where they'll only email you when something goes wrong, but you'd have to trust that it is not broken as well. If the server is offline, then it won't let you know that the backup failed for example.

Email monitoring solves this, you configure an email monitor that expects an email with the subject "Backup of server was successful!" every day, we'll provide you with an email address where you can send those emails to, if we do not receive an email in the specified interval we will let you know though a method that you provide.
